The design objective for Scienna MedSpa & Wellness Center in Reston, VA, was to transform a gloomy basement space into a sophisticated and stylish medical oasis, where spa services are integrated with clinical areas. The design juxtaposes fluid circulation with an irregular floor plate, delighting guests and enhancing the healing synergy, while earth-tone color accents and natural, sustainable materials further accentuate the serene interior. The result is an award-winning healthcare interior that continues to promote Scienna MedSpa's healing mission.

Cardiology Associates is a busy and well-established clinical practice of cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons in the Washington, DC Metro area. The Washington, DC office wished to relocate due to a rapidly expanding practice that required additional office space and facilities to provide its patients with the latest diagnostic technologies.
This project was a complete build-out that included significant building upgrades for HVAC, life-safety, and ADA compliance; all of which posed significant challenges during construction. Additional coordination was required during construction with the client’s vendors for installation of cardiovascular imaging equipment, nuclear medicine equipment, ultrasound equipment, and a “hot room” laboratory.
